Cypress Sea

The Cypress SEA is an all aluminum Open-Ocean Crew Boat. It was designed to handle all weather conditions while transporting men and equipment to and from oil rigs. In 1986, Frank Barry purchased the Cypress SEA and converted it to a state-of-the-art USCG certified Dive Boat.

As such, our vessel can transport divers comfortably under various weather conditions. We have a huge, fully enclosed galley area with room for every diver to come inside out of the sun, wind or chilly weather, should conditions change during the day. Safety and comfort are our priorities and dictate our operating schedule.

We are fully equipped to service 20 divers. There is a large deck with plenty of room for gear and divers, and a full length swim step for an easy return to the boat. We have a compressor on board for refilling tanks with CLEAN air and NITROX is available for qualified divers on every trip. Our HOT water showers will help keep you comfortable. We offer a large separate bathroom with a marine toilet. Snacks and drinks are offered throughout your trip and a buffet lunch is served on 3-dive charters.


All of these features are enhanced by our fantastic crew. We have the friendliest and most experienced crew in Northern California, and we know where all the best dive sites are - because we found most of them!
